		<description>Greetings Rebecca,
I feel your pain. As a Certified Inspector I feel it is my duty to report all properties where I have done a visual inspection and have found evidence of the possible effects of Chinese Drywall. It is everywhere. In a developement or community it is like a tornado, it misses one house but then it hits the house next door or across the street. I have inspected homes where the Chinese Drywall was used in one room and not the other, and the visual evidence follows suit. In one of my posts I speculated that Chinese Drywall was only used in the ceiling near the air conditioning return because the evaporator coils were the only item that showed the effects. As a certified home inspector, mold inspector, air quality inspector and air conditioning inspector I advise all potential buyers not to buy anything without having it inspected. If you go to the website at www.mermininspecitons.com you will see an ad for a visual Chinese Drywall inspection. All my home inspections include the Certified home inspection, mold inspection, air quality inspection, air conditioning inspection, and finally a Chinese Drywall inspection. You can't get a better inspection anywhere. There is also an example of an actual home inspection report on the website. It is not your normal garden variety you've seen one you've seen them all report. I plan to keep reporting on this Chinese Drywall issue. I will not report peoples names or their addresses but I will report the developement or community name. Please keep reading and commenting on all the posts at the Inspector's corner. I promise all my replys will not be this long.

<description>My husband and I have planned a trip to look at properties in the Fort Meyers area. I just happen to stumble upon the issue if Chinese drywall. Now I am afraid all the town houses that we were interested in may contain it. I don't want to waste our time looking at complexes that have an issue. Is there a list of complexes that are free of Chinese drywall?
